SEPTEMBER HOST CODE FH4Y3DCT
This week on September 13th, I featured the following projects on my Facebook Live. These projects feature the Trimming the Town Suite of products. This suite also contains the Coming Home Bundle. This bundle is Stampin' Up!s Making a Difference Stamp Set. Whether you purchase the stamp set as part of the Suite or the Bundle with the dies, $3 will be donated to charities devoted to adoption, infertility and foster care. What a wonderful way to help these charities!!! Here are the two projects I featured:

photo for which house and dies were used).
Color the roof of the house and the cap of the chimney using the Light
Basic Black Blends, color the windows with the Dark Mango Melody Blends and the
door and the base of the chimney with the Pumpkin Pie Blends. Use the Cobweb embossing folder to emboss the
3 ½” x 3 ½” and ¾” x 4” pieces of Basic Black.
Adhere the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper to the
front of the Basic Black card base.
Adhere the 3 ½” x 3 ½” and the ¾” x 4” pieces of embossed Basic Black
onto the card front (use photo for placement).
In the upper left corner of the 3 ½” x 3 ½” piece of embossed Basic
Black use Wink of Stella to highlight the cobwebs. Adhere the house to the bottom right corner
of this piece using black Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the Dark Basic Blends, color three
rhinestones. Place two of the colored
rhinestones onto the die cut sentiment piece (see photo) and adhere the
sentiment piece to the ¾” x 4” piece of embossed Basic Black using Black Mini

Score
the 5 ½” x 10 7/8” piece of Night of Navy cardstock at 3 5/8”, 6 7/8”, 7 ¼” and

Designer Series paper to the panel between the 7 ¼” score line and the 10 ½”
score line. Use a Stitched Rectangle die
to cut through both layers. DO NOT
DISCARD the cut out portion. Cut one large house, two trees and one medium
house from the Trimming the Town designer series paper (see photo for the ones
I used). Cut two sentiments from the
Trimming the Town designers series paper with all the sentiments. Cut the 3 ½”
x 5 ¼” piece of Whisper White using the tree and snow slope die from the Home
Together dies. Use the Dark Old Olive
and Dark Soft Suede markers to color the trees. Adhere this piece to the 3 3/8”
x 5 ¼” piece of Trimming the Town designer series paper. Adhere the largest house
to this piece. Pick up ink from the
Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write marker with a Blender Pen and color shadows under
the trees, the corners of the house and the front door (see photo). Adhere a
sentiment to the top left portion of this piece (this will be the card front) Set this piece aside. Establish all the folds on the card base using
a bone folder. Apply Tear & Tape adhesive to the 3/8” section above where
you have cut the rectangle. Remove the liner, fold to where the edge with the
Tear & Tape is aligned with the center score mark of the card. Close the card front and smooth with a bone folder
to be sure the Tear & Tape is securely adhered. Open the card and you will see you have
created a shadow box. Decorate the
leftover piece from when you cut the rectangle with the medium house and a
sentiment. With the “shadow box” fully
open, adhere the cut piece to the back of the card so it is positioned in the
center of the cut rectangle (see photo).
Close
the card and adhere the card front. Adhere
the 3 1/8” x 5 ¼” piece of Whisper White to the back of the card for writing
any personal note desired. Enjoy!
