These
cards were featured on my Facebook Live on June 13, 2021 and feature the All
Squared Away Bundle found on page 117 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.
Happiest of Birthdays
Designer Series Paper (DSP): In Color 6” x 6” 2021 – 2023 (see photo for pattern used) – one piece cut to ¾” x 5 ¼”
1. Use the Ornate Floral 3d
Embossing Folder to emboss the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” piece of Basic White cardstock.
2. Use the Floral Squares
Dies to cut three of the floral dies (see photo for dies used) from one of the
3” x 8 ½” pieces of Basic White Cardstock.(Do not adhere to the card front yet)
3. Use one of the
background stamps from the All Squared Away stamp set to stamp four images on
the remaining piece of 3” x 8 ½” of Basic White Cardstock.
4. Fussy cut out three of
the fours stamped squares leaving about a 1/8” border around the stamped images. Fussy cut the fourth stamped square leaving
no border around the stamped image.
5. Adhere the three
stamped squares with the border to the back of the three die cut floral images.
6. Adhere the fourth
stamped square which has no border to the 1 7/8” x 1 7/8” piece of Whisper
White cardstock.
7. Use Fresh Freesia ink
to stamp the “Happies of Birthdays to You!” sentiment onto the 1 ½” x 1 ½”
piece of Basic White cardstock. Use
Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this square to the stamped image which is not
attached to a die cut.
8. Apply the four squares
to the embossed piece of Basic White cardstock (see photo for placement).
9. Tie a “cheater knot” in
a length of Fresh Freesia 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon (about 10”) and secure to the
right hand side of the embossed piece.
10. Adhere the embossed
piece to the card front. Use Mini Glue
Dots to embellish the card front with the Loose Flower Flourishes.
11. Adhere the ¾” x 5 ¼”
piece of DSP to the bottom of the 4 ¼” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White
cardstock. Use Fresh Freesia ink to
stamp the “You are SO worth celebrating!” sentiment onto this piece and then
adhere it to the inside of the card.
12. Send to someone who is
having a birthday!
Good Things Grow Card
2” squares of each of the following colors: Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie
Designer Series Paper (DSP): Hand Penned – two pieces; one piece cut to 9” x 3 ½” and one piece cut to ¾” x 9”
2.
Use
the separate flower images in the Floral Squares dies to cut the images as
follows: the small and large three
leaved flowers are cut from Melon Mambo cardstock, the single five petal flower
is cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock, the tiny flower dies will need to be cut
twice from the Pumpkin Pie cardstock (a total of six tiny flowers), the seven
petal flower is cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock and you will also need to
use the corresponding die to cut the other yellow flower.
3.
Adhere
the flowers to their corresponding dies cuts.
4.
Adhere
the four floral die cuts to the 2 ½” x 8 12” piece of Basic White cardstock and
then adhere this piece to the 9” x 3 ½” piece of DSP.
5.
Adhere
this whole piece to the card front.
6.
Use
Garden Green ink to stamp the “Good things Grow” sentiment onto the ½” x 2 ¾”
piece of Basic White cardstock then use the Banners Pick A Punch die to cut
each end of the piece. Use Stampin’
Dimensionals to adhere this to the floral die at the bottom of the card
front.
7.
Use
the Pearl Basic Jewels for the centers of the flowers.
8.
Adhere
the ¾” 9” piece of DSP to the inside of the card and use Garden Green ink to
stamp the “like our Friendship” sentiment onto the inside of the card.
9.
Send
