UDI Saturday Sketch Challenge

So last week I hinted that I had some good news.  Well, my former upline decided to become a demonstrator again and signed up under ME!!!!!!  Isn't that awesome???  I'm so glad to welcome Caron Scruggs back to SU and onto my team!  This promotes me to a Sr. Supervisor!

Okay, so on to this week's sketch.  I made this card for my sister to send to her son who is getting married.  We won't be able to go to the wedding as they are in Brazil so we wanted to make a very special card.  So here's the sketch:

I wish you could see this in person as I used Shimmery White cardstock and it just glows!!!   Here are the supplies I used:

Stamps:  Loving Thoughts
Ink:  Basic Black
Cardstock:  Shimmery White, Basic Black
Accessories:  Full Heart punch, Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits, Vintage Wallpaper, Perfect Polka Dots and Delicate Designs Embossing Folders, Basic Black Scallop Dots ribbon (under the saying), Pearl Basic Jewels, 1/4" grosgrain ribbon (retired) and non-SU black pearls.

Utah Divas Saturday Sketch Challenge

I hope you all have had a wonderful week!!!  I know that mine has has ended on a high note with some news I'll be sharing later in the week!!!!

Stamp Set:  Gasp!!!!  -- NONE

Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso

Ink:  Whisper White Craft, Daffodil Delight

Accessories:  Vintage Trinkets, Brights Designer Buttons, Neutrals Designer Buttons, Fancy Flower Punch, Early Espresso Bakers Twine. Simply Scored

I wanted the lines on the card to be yellow so after I scored them, I ran Whisper White Craft Ink over them.  I gave it just a minute to dry and then tapped my Daffodil Delight stamp pad over it and, Voila!, Yellow lines!

Saturday Sketch Challenge 5/26

Hi all!  Sorry I've been missing in action!  Mother is in the hospital and was in ICU for a few days so I've been up there with her.  She is doing very well, she was only in ICU so they could monitor her blood pressure better.  So here's the sketch for the week:

This sketch was really had for me.  I am so linear in my planning that it was had for me to place the sentiment where it is!  That's what I love about challenges, the stretch you to put cards together in a way you never considered before!

UDI Saturday Sketch Challenge 4/28

Circle Fire Rhinestone Brad (I took out the rhinestone and replaced it with a pearl)
