UDI Sketch Challenge 11/17

I am so excited about today's sketch!  I have had this idea ever since I saw it!!!  So I'll get right to it.  Here's the sketch:

DSC 215 Nov 17

and here's my card:

Sorry for the quality of the picture, my camera is out of batteries and so I used my IPhone camera.  So back to the card.  I love the blackboard look and ever since I saw this die in the Holiday Catalog I knew I had to make flowers out of it.  Which die is this?

Tee hee!  That's right!  It's the Snow Flurry die!  If you like these and want this die, you need to go ahead an get it because it's not on the carry over list and will not be available (to the best of my knowledge) after January 2nd.

Other supplies I used were:  Basic Black and Old Olive cardstock, White craft ink, White detail embossing powder, Petite Pairs stamp set and In Color Dahlias.

Be sure to check out what all the other Designers have done over at the UDI Blog.  Have a wonderful week!!!!

  2. I love your interpretation of the sketch, Ruthie. Using the snowflake punch for the flower stem and leaves is definitely thinking outside the box. Love it!

  4. Ruthie, you are just too clever! I would never have guessed the snowflake die for the leaves and stems. This is adorable.
