x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼” and one piece cut to 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”
Basic
White – four pieces; one piece cut to 4” x 5 ¼”, one piece cut to 1” x 3 ½”,
one piece cut to 2 ½” x 3 ½” and one piece cut to 3” x 3”
Designer Series Paper
(DSP): Berry Delightful (see photo for pattern used) –
two pieces; one piece cut to 4” x 5 ¼” and one piece cut to ¾” x 4”
Accessories: Adhesive of choice, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blending
Brush, Pick-A-Banner Punch, Strawberry Builder Punch, sticky notes, ¼” White
Crinkled Seam Binding, Mini Glue Dots
Directions:
Adhere
the ¾” x 4” piece of DSP to the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White Cardstock. Adhere this to the inside of the card. Adhere the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP to the card
front. Use Memento Black ink to stamp
the outline strawberry image onto the bottom portion of the 2 ½” x 3 ½” piece
of Basic White (put the top of the strawberry toward the bottom of the
cardstock so it will fit correctly into the punch). Use Poppy Parade ink to stamp the solid
inside stamp of the strawberry onto the outline strawberry image. Punch out using the Strawberry Builder
Punch. Use Shaded Spruce ink to stamp
the strawberry stem outline (with the stem facing to the left) on the remaining
portion of the 2 ½” x 3 ½” piece of Basic White cardstock. Use Granny Apple Green ink to stamp the solid
portion of the stem onto the outline.
Punch out using the Strawberry Builder Punch. Adhere the stem to the top
of the strawberry image and set aside.
Use Memento ink to stamp the flower and leaf image onto a sticky note
being sure all three flowers are at the top of the sticky note so they will
have adhesive on the back. Fussy cut out
the three flowers to use as a mask. Use
Memento ink to stamp the flower and leaf image onto the piece of 3” x 3” Basic
White Cardstock. Be sure to leave enough
room for the strawberry. Cover the three
flowers with the masks which were cut from the sticky note. Ink a blending brush with Balmy Blue ink and
brush the ink onto the 3” x 3” piece of Basic White to create a halo effect
around the image, darker in the middle and lighter toward the outside.. It is okay that the ink will cover the leaf
portion of the stamp. Be sure to extend
the ink toward the bottom so it will surround the strawberry when it is put in
place. Remove the masks from the
flowers. Color in the leaves using Light
and Dark Granny Apple Green. Adhere the
strawberry in place using the photo for placement. Tie a ribbon using the ¼” Crinkle Seam
Binding and use Mini Glue dots to adhere it at the top of the strawberry. Adhere this piece to the 3 ¼” x 3 ¼” piece of
Poppy Parade cardstock. Use the
Pick-A-Banner Punch to punch one end of the 1” x 4” piece of Basic White
cardstock. Use Memento ink to stamp the “Just
for You” sentiment onto the banner.
Adhere this to the bottom of the 3 ¼” x 3 ¼” piece of Poppy Parade
cardstock. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to
adhere this whole piece to the card front.
This makes a great Thinking of You or Birthday card!
