Butterfly Home Decor

 

Supplies:
 
Designer Series Paper (DSP):   Butterfly Bijou – one piece cut to 3 ½” x 5” and three butterflies cut using the coordinating dies.  (see photo for pattern and butterflies used)
Natural Touch Specialty Paper – one piece cut to 8 ½” x 10” (make sure wood grain is straight)
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Tombo Multi-Purpose Adhesive, Frame Template, Stampin’ Trimmer or Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Brilliant Wings dies
Technique:   Home Décor Frame

 Directions:

 Use the Frame Template to score the 8 ½” x 10” piece of Specialty Paper.  Cut away areas indicated by shading and fold along the score lines.  Refer to the Facebook Live video for folding and assembly instructions.  Set assembled frame aside.  Place Stampin’ Dimensionals on the underside of each butterfly.  Adhere just the body of the three butterflies flat to to the 3 ½” x 5” piece of DSP using the photo as a guide for placement (the Stampin’ Dimensionals will keep the wings from flattening)

You can sit this piece on a shelf or attach a Command strip to the back to hang it.

 

Happy Day Notecard

 

Supplies:
 
Stamps: Itty Bitty Birthdays
Ink:  Misty Moonlight
Cardstock:  Basic White Note Card
Thick Basic White – one piece cut to 2 ½” x 2 ½”
Shimmery White – one piece cut to 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
Misty Moonlight – two pieces; one piece cut to 2 ¾” x 2 ¾’ and one piece cut to 3 ½” x 5”
Designer Series Paper (DSP):  Butterfly Bijouil (see photo for patterns used) – one piece cut to 3 3/8” x 4 7/8” and one butterfly cut with using the coordinating dies
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail dies, Stampin’ Trimmer, Blending Brush, Brilliant Wings dies, Misty Moonlight ¼ ribbon, Pearls

 Directions:

 Adhere the 3 3/8” x 4 7/8” piece of DSP to the  3 ½” x 5” piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock. .Apply Misty Moonlight ink using the blending brush to the center of the 2 ½” x 2 ½” piece of Thick Basic White cardstock. Use Misty Moonlight ink to stamp the sentiment at the bottom of this piece.  Adhere the butterfly cut from the DSP to the center of this piece.  Cut the coordinating detailed butterfly from the 3” x 3” piece of Shimmery White cardstock using the Brilliant Wings dies.  Adhere just the body of the butterfly over the DSP butterfly.  Cut a section of six of the self-adhesive pearls and apply to the Shimmery White butterfly body.  Adhere this piece to the 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock and then adhere this piece to the top portion of the 3 ½” x 5” piece of DSP/Cardstock panel.  Cut a 9” length of Misty Moonlight ribbon and tie a “cheater knot” (see the video if you are unfamiliar with this type of knot). Secure to the panel by wrapping the ends to the back and adhering.  Adhere this whole piece to the note card.  Send to someone who needs to have a Happy Day!
