Saturday Sketch Challenge 5/21

I'm using the Hope and Strength Set for my Saturday Sketch Challenge this week. This set is dedicated to Breast Cancer Research and for every one of these sets sold, Stampin' Up! donates $2 to a Breast Cancer Foundation.  This set is in the current Mini Catalog.   You can see what the other Designers have done at the UDI Blog or just follow the link at the end of this post to skip to the next Designer's blog.

I'm using this set because it has special meaning this week.  Unfortunately, my sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this past Wednesday and will be having surgery next week.  She has been diligent about having her yearly exams so they have caught it early and she has a great prognosis but it's still the "C" word and it's still very scary.  I hope you will keep her in your prayers this coming week!

Here is the sketch for this week:

And here's my card:
Supplies:

Set:  Hope and Strength
Cardstock:  Pretty in Pink Designer Series paper from the Subtles Designers Series Paper Pack, Whisper White
Ink:  Pretty in Pink, Whisper White Craft Ink
Accessories:  Eyelet Border punch, Pretty in Pink 5/8" Satin Ribbon, White detail embossing powder, 1 1/4" circle punch.

Now just skip on over to Alisa's blog to see what awesome creation she has planned for us from way Down Under!  Have a wonderful weekend!
