And here's my card:

This is actually a hybrid card. I don't have this adorable stamp in my hands yet and I couldn't wait so I downloaded him into my My Digital Studio2 program. This is an upgrade to My Digital Studio and has wonderful new tools. I was able to color individual words on this cat and then print him out! How cool is that! Also, I made a textured look to the background cardstock by taking a stamp pad of the same color as the cardstock and randomly dragging it across the cardstock. I call this the Dykhouse Drag because my friend, Barbara Dykhouse showed me how to do it. Here's the rest of the supplies for this card:
Stamps: Frightening Feline
Ink: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisteria Wonder
Cardstock: Basic Black, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper
Accessories: 3/8" Basics Glimmer Brads

OMG! Ruthie, this is just fabulous!!! I love the cat, and the background is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I was wondering how you managed to get all the different colors on the kitty. MDS! Brilliant! ;)
ReplyDeleteRuthie, this is awesome! Every time I see this cat I think I need to order it. But I have MDS 2+ so it must be in there! I love the name you gave to my "smooshing" technique. Too funny! I love you, Ruthie! :-)
