These
cards were featured on my Facebook Live from December 6th and were created
using the Dove of Hope Bundle found
on page 13 of the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.
Peace, Love, Joy Card
Designer Series Paper (DSP): Brightly Gleaming – two pieces; one piece cut to 2 5/8” x 4” and one piece cut to ¾” x 4”
Cut
the 2 5/2” x 4” piece of DSP at 2” (see photo for placement and design
used). Adhere the 2” x 4” piece to the
bottom of one of the 4” x 5 ¼” pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock. Flip the remaining 5/8” x 4” piece of DSP to
the opposite side and adhere directly above the 2” x 4” piece of DSP on the
Very Vanilla cardstock. Wrap the god
cord two times around the cardstock lining it up with the 5/8” x 4” piece of
DSP (see photo) and secure to the back using adhesive. Use Night of Navy Ink to stamp the sentiment
onto the 1 ½” x 3 ¼” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Set aside to allow ink time to absorb into
the paper. Stamp three of the ornament
images onto the 2” x 4” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Cut out using the coordinating die from the
Detailed Dove dies. Color the ornaments
using the Stampin’ Blends as shown in the photo. Cut three 4” pieces of the gold cord. Cut the “hanger” portion off of the
ornaments. Secure the gold cord to the
back of the ornament using a regular Stampin’ Dimensional. Adhere the ornament to the card front and
wrap the end of the cord to the back of the cardstock and secure with
adhesive. Repeat with the other two
ornaments. Adhere the card front to the
Night of Navy card base. Apply Wink of
Stella to the Bronze colored portions of the ornaments. Cut around the sentiment and then secure to
the card front using mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use Night of Navy ink to stamp the “blessings
of Christmas” sentiment onto the remaining 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Very Vanilla
Cardstock. Adhere the ¾” x 4” piece of
DSP to the bottom portion of the card and then adhere this to the inside of the
card.
Blessings of Christmas Card
