Cutting/Scoring
Template created by Margarita Hindman
Use
Maragarita’s template to cut and score the 7 ½” x 9 ½” piece of Misty Moonlight
cardstock, cutting along the bold red lines and scoring on the thin black
lines. Use a rectangle die from the
Stitched Rectangle dies to cut the window where indicated. Use Mini Glue dots to secure the window sheet
over the back of the opening created by the rectangle die cut. Orient the
cardstock so it matches the orientation of the template. Place Tear ‘n Tape on the tab on the left
side. Before removing the backing from
the tape fold the box being sure the window is on the front of the box and the
window sheet is on the inside of the box (see photo for how the box should look
when folded. Remove the backing from the
Tear ‘N Tape and and adhere the box together.
Adhere the 2 ¾” x 3 ¾” piece of DSP to the piece of cardstock that has
no flaps. Adhere the 1 ¼” x 3 ¾” piece
of DSP to the top of the box. (Again, use the photo for placement). One the side of the box where the four tabs
are the same size, fold them in and use Tear ‘n Tape or Multi-purpose adhesive
to create one side of the box. Fill the
box with candy of choice. One the other side of the box, fold in the short
flaps and tuck the longest flap in to close the box. Do not adhere this closed so the candy can be
removed without tearing open the box. Fold each of the three pieces of ½” x 2 ½”
Whisper White along the score lines to create a box. Use Multi-purpose adhesive to secure. Use Mult-purpose glue to adhere each box to
the each house and the tree. Use
Multi-purpose adhesive to adhere these to the top of the box (use photo for
placement). Enjoy!!!
