First, an apology.  I don't know what I was doing wrong but everytime I would enter a photo, my blog would post so if you are a "follower" I'm sorry that it came through incompletely a couple of times.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!!!  We have had a week of rain and flash flooding but we were rewarded with beautiful Bluebonnets!!!!  I just love seeing them along the roadside!  So now on to today's sketch.  Today is my sister's birthday and this card is for her.  Here's the sketch:

And here's the front of my card:

Now since it was Sister's birthday and we are trying to diet, I decided to give her a non-caloric cupcake for her day so here's the inside of the card:
Tee hee!!!  I had sooooo much fun doing this!!!!  Here's the supplies:
Stamps:  Petite Pairs
Ink:  Melon Mambo
Cardstock:  Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper
Accessories:  Simply Scored, 1 3/4" Scallop punch, 1 3/8" Circle punch
Edited 3/25 to add measurements for cupcake.
The cupcake base is 2" x 4" scored at each 1/4".  I angled the bottom ends in toward the fold to make it look more like a cupcake liner.  The cupcake base should be placed 1/2" from the bottom so that when the card is closed it will not stick out of the bottom.
The cupcake "icing" is six layers.  The bottom two layers are 1 1/4" x 6", the middle two layers are 1 1/8" x 6" and the top two layers are 1" x 6" all scored at 1/8".  I attached everything with Sticky Strip.  The cherry is a 3/4" punch and I free-hand cut the stem.
One additional note, the card base is 8 3/4" x 5 1/2".  I scored in from each side at 4 1/4: and this created a 1/4" spine to allow for the bulk of the cupcake when it is folded.  It does not open completely flat because of this.  If I make another one of these, I will put a belly band around it to keep it closed.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions!
Have a great weekend and be sure to stop by the
UDI Blog to see what the other Designer's have done!
