All Squared Away Bundle featured on Facebook Live June 13, 2021

 

These cards were featured on my Facebook Live on June 13, 2021 and feature the All Squared Away Bundle found on page 117 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. 

Happiest of Birthdays

 

Supplies:
 
Stamps:  All Squared Away
Ink:  Fresh Freesia
Cardstock:  Fresh Freesia – one piece cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”
Basic White: - six pieces; one piece cut to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”, one piece cut to 4” x 5 ¼”, two pieces cut to 3” x 8 ½”, one piece cut to 1 7/8” x 1 7/8” and one piece cut to 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Designer Series Paper (DSP):   In Color 6” x 6” 2021 – 2023 (see photo for pattern used) – one piece cut to ¾” x 5 ¼”
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Floral Squares Dies, Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Loose Flower Flourishes, Fresh Freesia 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots
 
Directions:

1.    Use the Ornate Floral 3d Embossing Folder to emboss the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” piece of Basic White cardstock.

2.    Use the Floral Squares Dies to cut three of the floral dies (see photo for dies used) from one of the 3” x 8 ½” pieces of Basic White Cardstock.(Do not adhere to the card front yet)

3.    Use one of the background stamps from the All Squared Away stamp set to stamp four images on the remaining piece of 3” x 8 ½” of Basic White Cardstock.

4.    Fussy cut out three of the fours stamped squares leaving about a 1/8” border around the stamped images.  Fussy cut the fourth stamped square leaving no border around the stamped image. 

5.    Adhere the three stamped squares with the border to the back of the three die cut floral images.

6.    Adhere the fourth stamped square which has no border to the 1 7/8” x 1 7/8” piece of Whisper White cardstock.

7.    Use Fresh Freesia ink to stamp the “Happies of Birthdays to You!” sentiment onto the 1 ½” x 1 ½” piece of Basic White cardstock.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this square to the stamped image which is not attached to a die cut.

8.    Apply the four squares to the embossed piece of Basic White cardstock (see photo for placement). 

9.    Tie a “cheater knot” in a length of Fresh Freesia 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon (about 10”) and secure to the right hand side of the embossed piece. 

10. Adhere the embossed piece to the card front.  Use Mini Glue Dots to embellish the card front with the Loose Flower Flourishes.

11. Adhere the ¾” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP to the bottom of the 4 ¼” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock.  Use Fresh Freesia ink to stamp the “You are SO worth celebrating!” sentiment onto this piece and then adhere it to the inside of the card.

12. Send to someone who is having a birthday!

  

Good Things Grow Card

 


Supplies:
 
Stamps: All Squared Away
Ink:  Garden Green
Cardstock:  Basic White – three pieces; one piece cut to 9 ¼” x 7 ½” and scored at 3 ¾”, one piece cut to 8” x 2 ½” and one piece cut to ½” x 2 ¾”
Garden Green – one piece cut to 3” x 8 ½”
2” squares of each of the following colors:  Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie
Designer Series Paper (DSP): Hand Penned – two pieces; one piece cut to 9” x 3 ½” and one piece cut to ¾” x 9”
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’, Cut & Emboss Machine, Floral Squares Dies, Banners Pick A Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Pearl Basic Jewels.
 
Directions:

     1.    Use the Floral Squares dies to cut the four floral images from the 3” x 8 ½” piece of                  Garden Green Cardstock. 

2.    Use the separate flower images in the Floral Squares dies to cut the images as follows:  the small and large three leaved flowers are cut from Melon Mambo cardstock, the single five petal flower is cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock, the tiny flower dies will need to be cut twice from the Pumpkin Pie cardstock (a total of six tiny flowers), the seven petal flower is cut from Daffodil Delight cardstock and you will also need to use the corresponding die to cut the other yellow flower.

3.    Adhere the flowers to their corresponding dies cuts. 

4.    Adhere the four floral die cuts to the 2 ½” x 8 12” piece of Basic White cardstock and then adhere this piece to the 9” x 3 ½” piece of DSP. 

5.    Adhere this whole piece to the card front. 

6.    Use Garden Green ink to stamp the “Good things Grow” sentiment onto the ½” x 2 ¾” piece of Basic White cardstock then use the Banners Pick A Punch die to cut each end of the piece.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this to the floral die at the bottom of the card front. 

7.    Use the Pearl Basic Jewels for the centers of the flowers.

8.    Adhere the ¾” 9” piece of DSP to the inside of the card and use Garden Green ink to stamp the “like our Friendship” sentiment onto the inside of the card.

9.    Send to a good friend!

Well Suited Suite featured on Facebook Live May 30, 2021

Father’s Day Card

 

Supplies:
 
Stamps:  Handsomely Suited
Ink:  Night of Navy
Cardstock:  Night of Navy – four pieces; one piece cut to 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 2 ¾ and 5 ½”, two pieces cut to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” and one piece cut to 2 ½” x 4”
Basic White: - three pieces; one piece cut to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”, one piece cut to 4” x 3” and one piece cut to 3 ½” x 4”
Designer Series Paper (DSP):   Well Suited (see photo for pattern used) – one piece cut to 2” x 5 ¼”
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Suit and Tie Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Rhinestones, Mini Glue Dots, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Technique:  Easel Fun Fold Card
 
Directions: 

1.    Use the “V” shaped die in the Suit and Tie Dies to cut the “suite opening” from one of the 4 ¼” x 5 ½” pieces of Night of Navy cardstock, creating the front of the suit. 

2.    Use the Suit and Tie Dies to cut the lapel, pocket and buttons from the remaining 4 ¼” x 5 ½” pieces of Night of Navy Cardstock.

3.    Adhere the lapel and buttons to the suit front.

4.    Cut ½” from the bottom of the 2” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP.  Pleat and attach the DSP to the back of the pocket piece.  Use a liquid adhesive to attach the pocket to the suit front

5.    Cut the collar die from the Suit and Tie dies and the (approximately) 1 9/16” x 2 7/8” rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies from the 3 ½” x 4” piece of Basic White cardstock.

6.    Cut the tie and tie knot dies from the Suit and Tie dies from the remainder of the 2” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP.

7.    Adhere only the top the collar piece to the top of  4 1/8” x 5 3/8” piece of Basic White (you can lay the suite front over the Basic White piece to be sure the collar is centered but do not attach the suit front yet)

8.    Adhere the tie to the shirt front, sliding it underneath the collar. Use a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional to attach the tie knot (also sliding it under the collar).

9.    Attach the suit front to the shirt front, then adhere a Rhinestone for the tie tack.

10.  With the fold at the top of the card base and the opening at the bottom, apply adhesive to the bottom panel of the card front.  Adhere the suit and shirt piece to this panel.

11.  Use the (approximately) 1 15/16” x 3 ¼” die from the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut a rectangle from the 2 ½” x 4” piece of Night of Navy cardstock.

12.  Use Night of Navy ink to stamp the Father’s Day sentiment onto the Basic White rectangle, then attach the Basic White rectangle to the Night of Navy rectangle.

13.  Adhere the 4” x 3” piece of Basic White to the top of the inside of the card, then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the rectangular pieces centered below this piece.  (This is provide a “stop” for the card front once it is opened).

14.  Send to someone whom you wish a Happy Father’s Day.

  

Happy Birthday Card

 

Supplies:
 
Stamps: Handsomely Suited
Ink:  Night of Navy
Stampin’ Write Markers: Real Red
Cardstock:  Night of Navy – one piece cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”
Real Red – two pieces; one piece cut to 3 ¾” x 5” and one piece cut to ¾” x 5 /14”
Basic White – two pieces; one piece cut to 4” x 5 ¼” and one piece cut to 3 ½” x 5 ¼”
Designer Series Paper (DSP): In Good Taste – Pattern One (Woodgrain) – one piece cut to 3 ½” x 5 ¼”
Pattern Two (see photo for pattern used) – two pieces; one piece cut to 3 ½” x 4 ¾” and one piece cut to ½” x 5 ¼”
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’, Cut & Emboss Machine, Suit and Tie Dies, Layering Circles Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
 
Directions: 

1.    Use the (approximately) 2 7/8” smooth edged circle die from the Layering Circle Dies to cut a circle from the 3 ½” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock.  Do not discard the scrap.

2.    Use Night of Navy ink to stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment in the center of the Basic White circle.  Use the scrap from cutting the circle as a guide to draw to “seams” onto the Basic White Circle.

3.    Use the fine tip of the Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker to draw stitching along the seams.

4.    Cut two of the tie dies from the Suit and Tie Dies from the 3 /12” x 5 ¼” piece of Pattern One (light Woodgrain) DSP to use as the bats.

5.    Adhere the 3 ½” x 4 ¾” piece of Pattern Two DSP to the 3 ¾” x 5” piece of Real Red cardstock.  Adhere this piece to the card front.

6.    Adhere the bats in an “X” pattern to the DSP on the card front then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the “baseball” over the bats.

7.    Adhere the ½” x 5 ¼” piece of Pattern Two DSP to the ¾” x 5 ¼” piece of Real Red Cardstock.  Adhere this piece to the left side of the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White Cardstock.  If this is for a Father, use Night of Navy ink to stamp the “World’s Greatest” sentiment onto the Basic White cardstock then adhere this piece to the inside of the card.

8.    Send to any Baseball loving person for their birthday!
