Stampin’ Blends: Light Seaside Spray and Light and Dark Daffodil Delight
Stampin’ Write Markers: Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Highland Heather
Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight – two pieces; one piece cut to 2 ¼” x 2 ¼” and one piece cut to 1 ½” x 5”
Garden Green:  One piece cut to 2” x 5”

Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Chick Dies

Directions:

Use Memento ink to stamp the chicken onto the 2” x 3” piece of Basic White cardstock.  Cut the image out using the corresponding die from the Chick Dies.  Use all colors of the Stampin’ Write Markers to color his “hair” and tail.  Use the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker to color his nose and use the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends to color his body. Use the Light Seaside Spray Blend to outline the chicken.   Adhere the chicken to the 2” x 2” piece of Basic White cardstock at an angle so he looks like he is peeking in from the side (see photo for placement), trimming off any of the image as necessary.  Use Memento Ink to stamp the greeting in the bottom right corner of this piece and underline the words with the Light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend.  Adhere this piece to the 2 ¼: x 2 ¼” piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock.  Trim left side the Daffodil Delight layer so it is flush with the Basic White piece.  Adhere this whole piece to the card front centering in the upper portion of the card.  Cut one corn stalk and three corn husks from the 2” x 5” piece of Garden Green and cut one corn stalk and three ears of corn from the 1 ½” x 5” piece of Daffodil Delight.  Trim off the “tassel” of the Daffodil Delight corn stalk and adhere it to the top of the Garden Green cornstalk.  Adhere this cornstalk so it is flush with the left side of the chicken image (see photo).  Adhere the ears of corn to the husks and then adhere them to the corn stalk.  Send this card to someone to brighten their day!!!

Happy Birthday Card

Supplies:

Stamps: Hey Birthday Chick
Ink:  StazOn Jet Black, Bermuda Bay
Stampin’ Write Markers:  Bumblebee and Magenta Madness
Cardstock:  Bermuda Bay – Two pieces; one piece cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼” and one piece cut to 2” x 3 ½”
Basic White – one piece cut to 4” x 5 ½”
Shimmer White – two pieces; one piece cut to 3” x 4 ½” and one piece cut to 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Magenta Madness – one piece cut to 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Designer Series Paper (DSP):  Oh So Ombre (see photo for patterns used) – five pieces; one piece cut to 4” x 5 ¼”, three pieces cut to 1” x 4” and one piece cut to ¾” x 4”
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Whale of a Time sequins, Birthday Chick Dies

Directions:

Use Bermuda Bay ink to stamp “Let’s Celebrate You” onto the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock.  Adhere the ¾” x 4” piece of DSP to the bottom of this piece, leaving about ¼” inch from the bottom.  Adhere this piece to the inside of the card.  Adhere the 4” x 5 ½” piece of DSP to the card front.  Adhere the three 1” x 4” pieces of DSP to the card front staggering them so the center piece is higher than the other two pieces.  Cut three banners from the 2” x 3 ½” piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock.  Adhere these to the card front over the 1” x 4” pieces (see photo for placement).  Use StazOn ink to stamp the chicken image onto the 3” x 4 ½” piece of Shimmery White cardstock.  Cut out using the corresponding die from the Birthday Chick dies. Color the balloon of the image and the chicken’s “hair” and feet with the Magenta Madness Stampin’ Write marker and color the body with the Bumblebee Stampin’ Write Marker.  Adhere to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals, being sure to leave room for the “Happy Birthday” sentiment.  Cut out the Happy Birthday die from the Birthday Chick dies from the 2 ½” x 1 ½” pieces of Shimmery White and Magenta Madness cardstock.  Adhere the Magenta Madness Happy Birthday piece to the Shimmery White Happy Birthday piece slightly offsetting them so a shadow of white shows behind.  Adhere this piece to the card front.  Finish the card front by adding three sequins from the Whale of a Time sequins.
