Fine Art Floral Suite from Stampin' Up! Featured on Facebook Live January 10, 2021

These two cards were featured on my Facebook Live on January 10, 2021 and feature the Fine Art Floral Suite found on pages 32-34 of the January-June Mini Catalog

Just Want to Say Card

Supplies:
Stamps: Art Gallery
Ink:  Bermuda Bay
Cardstock:  Pool Party – three pieces; one piece cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”, one piece cut to 3” x 4” and one piece cut to 1 ½” x 4”
Basic White: one piece cut to 4” x 5 ¼”
Designer Series Paper (DSP):  Fine Art Floral – two pieces, one piece cut to 4” x 5 ¼” and one piece cut to ¾” x 4”
Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate:  One piece which matches the DSP cut to 4” x 5 ¼”
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Mini Glue Dots, Foam Adhesive Sheets, Floral Gallery dies, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine (SCEM)

 Directions:

Before cutting the DSP or Golden Garden Acetate, be sure you have selected matching pattern so that the gold images in the acetate outline the images of the DSP.  Align the acetate over the DSP and secure with Mini Glue dots placing them in areas that have larger colored areas so they won’t be so obvious.  Do not put a glue dot in the top left corner yet.  Adhere this to the card base.  Apply a Foam Adhesive Sheet to the back of the 3” x 4” piece of Pool Party cardstock and then cut out the “Just Want to Say” die from the Floral Gallery dies.  Remove the backing from the die cuts and attach in the upper left corner of the of the card front.  Once the sentiment is in place, put additional Mini Glue dots between the acetate and DSP under where the sentiment is in order to secure the top left corner to the card front.  Stamp the “I’m Thinking of You” sentiment (or any of the others if desired) and use the large scalloped rectangle from the Floral Gallery dies to cut it out.  Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere it to the lower right portion of the card front.  Adhere the ¾” x 4” piece of DSP to the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and then adhere to the inside of the card.

 Happy Birthday Card

Supplies:
Stamps: Art Gallery
Ink:  Bumblebee, Mossy Meadow, VersaMark
Cardstock:  Basic White – four pieces; one piece cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”, two pieces cut to 3 ¼” x 4 ½” and one piece cut to 1 ½” x 4”
Designer Series Paper (DSP):  Fine Art Floral – one piece cut to 4: x 5 1/4”
Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Mini and Regular Stampin’ Dimensionals, Heat and Stick Embossing Powder, Floral Gallery dies, Gilded Leafing Embellishment, Stampin’ Sponge, Fine Art 3/8” Rbbon, Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Trimmer, Heat Embossing tool.

Directions:

Adhere the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP to the card base.  Use the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder to emboss one of the 3 ¼” x 4 ½” pieces of Basic White cardstock.  Adhere to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use Bumblebee ink to stamp the large single flower image onto the top portion of the remaining 3 ¼’ x 4 ½” piece of Basic White cardstock and then use Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the stem image onto the same piece of cardstock making sure the images don’t touch.  Cut out  the coordinating dies from the Floral Gallery dies.  Use Versamark to stamp the accent stamp onto the Bumblebee colored flower.  Apply Heat and Stick powder to the image and heat emboss (be sure the Heat and Stick powder melts completely).  Apply the Gilded Leafing to the image.  It will stick to the Heat and Stick embossed area.  Remover any loose Gilded Leafing with a Stampin’ Sponge.  Adhere the flower and stem images to the front of the card.  Cut a 7 ½” piece of the Fine Art 3/8” ribbon.  Fold it in half and adhere it to the card front over the stem of the flower.  Stamp the “Happy Birthday” (or any of the other sentiments) onto the 1 ½” x 4” piece of Basic White and then cut out with the large rectangle die from the Floral Gallery dies.  Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere this sentiment to the card front, placing it on top of the ribbon.
