Cardstock:  Cherry Cobbler – two pieces; one piece cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”, one piece cut to 2 ½” x 5”
Designer Series Paper (DSP):  6” x 6” Designer Series Paper – Regals – Cherry Cobbler – Pattern One -two pieces (see photo for patterns used); one piece cut to 4 1/8” x 3 5/8”and  one piece cut to ¾” x 5 ¼”  Pattern Two – one piece 6” x 6”

Accessories:  Adhesive of choice, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Heart Punch Pack
Directions:

Use the non-scalloped heart punch to punch four hearts from Pattern 2 of the DSP.  Cut one of the hearts in half.  Adhere two hearts right side up to the top portion of the 4 1/8” x 3 5/8” of the Pattern 1 DSP.  Place the remaining whole heart upside down between the points of the two heart you just adhered and then place the remaining halves of the hearts upside down, lining the straight side of the hearts up with the edge of the Patttern 1 DSP (see photo for placement).  Adhere this piece to the 4 ¼” x 3 ¾” piece of Basic White cardstock and then adhere this in a landscape orientation to the front of the card base.  Use Memento ink to stamp the Darling Donkey with the rose in its mouth onto the left side of the 2 ½” x 5” piece of Basic White and use Cherry Cobbler ink to stamp the “So lucky to have a friend like you” sentiment onto the right side of this same piece of cardstock.  Use the non-scalloped heart punch to punch out both (see photo for placement of Donkey).  Color the body of the Donkey image with the Light and Dark Smoky Slate Blends, the inside of the ears with Light Petal Pink Blends, the rose with Light Cherry Cobbler Blends and the stem of the rose with Dark Old Olive Blends.  Use the scalloped punch to punch two hearts from the 2 ½” x 5” piece of Cherry Cobble Cardstock.  Use Stampin; Dimensionals to adhere the heart with the donkey image to one of the scalloped hearts and then use regular adhesive to adhere the heart with the sentiment to the remaining scalloped heart.  Adhere the heart with the donkey image to the upper left corner of the DSP piece on the card front.  Use Cherry Cobbler ink to stamp the “roses are red” sentiment onto the ½” x 4” piece of Basic White leaving enough room on the right side of the sentiment to make a banner cut.  After making the banner cut on the right side of the sentiment, slide the left side of the sentiment piece under the scalloped heart on the card front (you may have to trim it a little).  For the inside of the card, adhere the scalloped heart with the sentiment to the upper left side of the remaining 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Basic White.  Adhere the ¾” x 5 ¼” piece of Pattern 1 DSP about ¼” from the bottom of the piece of Basic White and then adhere this to the inside of the card base.  Send to a special friend!!!!!
